Leak Detection And Repair

Our LDAR (Leak Detection And Repair) program allows you to detect the fugitive emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from all the equipment of industrial, chemical and refinery plants.

FERP LDAR 4.0. Our fully computerized approach eliminates the need for paper material and helps you plan repairs.

This highly digitalized approach provides our clients with detailed reports available in several languages.

Optical Gas Imaging

FERP uses OGI cameras to easily and safely detect in real-time:

  • Sources not reachable or difficult to reach (smart LDAR);
  • Leaks from fixed or floating roofs tanks and from vessels;
  • Emissions from insulated equipment and lines;
  • Leaks during start-up of the plant;
  • This is service is executed in compliance with NTA 8399:2015.

FERP uses different ultrasound technologies to detect internal leaks of both pressure safety valves, both the on/off or gate valves (blow down, steam recovery, process network) to identify eventual structural anomalies.

The combined use of multiple technologies and modern reliable instruments sets us up perfectly to asses any leaking anomaly.

We use the FERP Geo Scanner to:

  • Research of underground utilities, like the fire-fighting ones;
  • Underground utilities integrity check;
  • Environmental research.

FERP Geo Scanner can be used in any industrial plant like refineries, petrochemicals, energy, steelwork ones.

Steam leaks are a big source of energy loss.

Our inspections are performed with acoustic and IR instruments, so that broken equipment are easy to find. We have developed a protocol in order to monitor the integrity of all the equipment in which steam passes through (steam drainers, shut- off valves, steam lines).

Our goal is to create savings in energy, and therefore money, by improving the performance and safety of the steam network transfer.

We use state of the art technology to identify eventual leaks or damages in the gas distribution system.
We’ve operated across many industries (refining, chemical, petrochemical, energy, hospital, pharmaceutic, workshop and steelwork), and the following are a sample of the gases that we monitor.
